My daughter emailed this site and pattern to me and I am getting ready to start knitting some of these for her twins.
To answer the question above about weaving the ends together, try the kitchener stitch. You can do a search to learn more about this stitch for invisible seams.

Debbie,
Here is a website that has instructions and a video of how to graft stitches from a stitch holder. It seems complicated, but it's really fairly simple and makes a seam that you can't even see.
If you can't get the information from this website, search for grafting stitches in knitting and it should give you some more info on the subject.
Good luck!

I would love this pattern my DD is 2 and is a super string bean I have bought a few patterns but none of them fit and I am ready to throw the stupid machine out the window since she wants nothing to do with diapers until bed. I am ready to cry. I am not a pattern disiner and have spent so money on patterns I just need one that fits. Thanks.

First, thank you so much for this AMAZING pattern! I am a beginner at knitting, but have found these steps to be easy to follow, and the soaker is adorable! I was hoping, though, that you could help me with one thing...
Could you explain to me how to weave the last row in with the stitches from the stitch holder? I have never done this before and I cannot find any tutorials on how to do it. Thank you!!!

Hello Megan!!!!

I just came across this wonderful site the other day while trying to find a free cloth diaper pattern. I tried sewing one the other night and I couldn’t believe that I made one! I was very happy with it and so we went to buy more fabric and just today I made the first batch for my baby boy. I actually made a post about your site on my blog. Here are the links: http://caroleenstreasures.com/2009/02/time-to-brag/ and Hello Megan!!!!

I found out that the small size pattern that you have is actually the biggest size, and the medium size is the real small size. I think you have mislabeled the patterns but anyhow yours is the BEST pattern that I came across with. I am really thankful for your generosity in sharing this.

And oh I have a question too…if you won’t mind. Do you also have newborn pattern? or the small size is the newborn, and the medium is the small and so on?
